Thanksgiving 2011

This Thanksgiving we were lucky enough to have two dinners. On Wednesday we went to Nathan and Sarah's house for dinner. Also there was Dan, Christina, Hunter, and Ayden. Sarah cooked a very yummy dinner and an awesome Turkey!

On Thanksgiving day, we went to my Grandpa Dave's house. We got to see a lot of my cousins that I haven't seen in years and some Gabe haven't even met yet.

Scooby's Ouch

When we got back from Hawaii, I noticed that Scooby had an ouchy. Some how he cut a chuck off on his front leg. He is a clumsy dog! Since he is such a nervous licker, I had to wrap it up for a day so that it had a chance to heal. He wasn't very happy with that.

Hawaii Trip - Maui Day 8

Our last day in Maui. Our Flight didn't leave until 11pm. So we were able to get a late check out so we could shower and pack up to leave.

During the day we went back to Black Rock and hung out at the beach all day. There was a turtle that was almost on the shore eating pretty much all day long. It was pretty cool. We swam, tanned, and ate. Then we had to go back to get ready to leave.

Maui was an awesome island. I can't wait until I can go back.

Hawaii Trip - Maui Day 7

We had planned all week to do surfing lessons and finally got it scheduled. We woke up early to get the early morning waves.

Here we are getting our lessons before we set out.

Sarah opted out for surfing so she was our photographer.

I finally caught a good one and I got run over by another surfer. Nathan had a crash too.

Surfing was so much fun. I can't wait to get back on the board. In words from Blue Crush me and Gabe have "Surf Stoke." I seriously dream about it quite often.

After surfing we went to Black Rock. Everyone told us that when we went to Maui we had to go there. I wish we would have gotten there earlier. It was great.

Gabe and Nate jumped off the Block Rock. We were told it was 35 feet high.

Hawaii Trip - Maui Day 6

We had planned to do the Road to Hana, but Gabe had to do some work. So I went to the beach and laid out in the sun and read. Sarah and Nate went for a drive and ended up doing a helicopter ride.

After Gabe was done working we ate lunch and swam.

Late that night me and Sarah went down to the beach to watch the sunset. Nathan came down and we took some fun pics.

Hawaii Trip - Maui Day 5

We booked a snorkeling cruise to Molokini and Turtle Beach.

Molokini was fun to snorkel at. There were a lot of fish to see. It was a windy day so the water was a little murky, but we had a lot of fun taking pictures of each other under the water.

After Molokini the boat headed to Turtle Beach. Me and Sarah were cold so we stayed on the boat while the boys went and snorkeled. They say a turtle while out there. See below pic.

After snorkeling we had lunch on the boat. While eating a seal came by the boat really close. This certain kind of seal is an endangered specie. There is only 250 of the left. So it was pretty cool to see one.

After lunch, the boat cruised around showing us some cool places. Then we saw a family of dolphins with a little baby. The baby was so small.

On our way back to the condo we discovered some yummy Hawaiian Shave Ice. We ended up eating it a lot after that. I still crave it. :)

Hawaii Trip - Maui Day 4

Gabe and Nathan had work to do in the morning so me and Sarah went to the beach and snorkeled. We say a purple Octopus which was really cool. Probably the best sea creature we saw. Don't get me wrong the Sea Turtle's were really cool, but I suspected to see those and not an Octopus.

The boys came late and we all swam and had fun.

That afternoon we had Jet skis rented. So we went to Whalers Village and had lunch. Then off to jet ski.

At first I was really nervous and tentative, but then I got used to it and had a lot of fun. The boys were crazy on them. I'm surprised that Gabe didn't roll his.

Hawaii Trip - Maui Day 3 "Luau"

That night we went to a Luau at the Sheraton Hotel. We had so much fun.

We played a few different Hawaii Games. I was terrible, but Gabe did good.

They did a ceremony for the roasted pig. It was pretty cool, but it turned me off from eating pork for the rest of the week.

Me and Sarah went on stage to learn some Hula moves.

During the show the dancers came out and chose people to come up on the stage to dance with them. Some how I got chosen and embarrassed myself pretty well up there.

The fire dance was the coolest of them all. He was really good.

Hawaii Trip - Maui Day 3

Early in the morning, Gabe, Nate, and Sarah went deep sea fishing. I didn't go, because I get sea sick easy and I'm not a fan of fishing.

They all caught a few fish. Gabe won the biggest fish contest

When they got back, Nate and Gabe rested, while Me and Sarah went swimming and snorkeling.

Hawaii Trip - Maui Day 1

Day 1
We left on a 6am flight with Sarah and Nathan. We had a layover in San Francisco. Since Gabe is the world traveler we got upgraded to First Class all the way there. My first time First Class was awesome. I don't know if I can ever go Coach again. :)

We arrived in Hawaii and got our rental car, a red Jeep Wrangler. We drove about an hour to our Condo. The drive was beautiful. This island really has a lot of different landscape changes.

Once we got to the Condo, we ate at Duke's. Which is a restaurant right at the condo. We ended up eating there quite a bit. It was pretty good. After lunch we put our suits on and swam at a beach near by.

Missing Gabe

When Gabe is gone I become a softy and let Scooby sleep on the couch and on the bed with me. It is suppose to be a secret, but my mom decided to text the below pic to everyone including Gabe who isn't suppose to know.

Chance's Birthday

Happy 2nd Birthday Chance!!!

Below are some pictures of Chance after we sang him Happy Birthday. They are quite halarious. Debbie stuck his hands in the cake and he flipped. He was so horrified that he had icing on his hands.

Gabe's 26th Bday

Happy Birthday Lover Boy!!!

I can't believe Gabe turned 26. We are getting old. He still looks great though.

For his birthday Gabe wanted a Tres Leches Cake. I have never made one before, but I took on the challenge. The cake turned out so good. Mmmm!!! We are in fact addicted to it. Gabe wants me to make the cake all the time. But I have to say no most of the time since it is 20 Weight Watchers points per slice. And we can eat the cake just me and him in 2 days.
Before we had cake we went to the M Resort and had some yummy Italian food. Then we played some Craps. We walked away with a little extra money.

This was the 10th birthday that I have spent with Gabe.
Wow, I love that we have grown up together and experienced life together.

Spontaneous trip to Magic Mountain

Spontaneous trip to Magic Mountain

On Friday night getting dressed to go watch a movie, Gabe decided we should go to Cali to Magic Mountain. So we packed up and headed out that night.

Fish cloud I spotted on the way there. Can you see it?

On Saturday, we went to Magic Mountain and had alot of fun. We hit all the roller coaster except for Super Man. For some reason we can never make it to Super Man. I will for sure next trip.

Then on our way home we stopped at this cool store called Charlie Brown's. It had food and any desert you can fry. The store had lots of different knicks knacks, antiques, and movie memorabilia to look at and buy.

The trip was alot of fun. Can't wait until we go again.

Paintball

Ski Trip to Brian Head

Secound to last Ski trip of the season
We took Scooby with us and rented a condo. Scooby loves the snow so he had lots of fun. Even when we took him out at night for a walk and it was 20 degrees. He wanted to keep going.

We had so much fun skiing this trip we had fresh powder which is always a plus.
We are getting alot better at skiing. Gabe has always been pretty good though. We went on alot of trips to Brian Head this season. Skiing is the only thing I will miss about winter.

Olivia

Olivia

In March of 2009 she found us at the park and jumped in our car like she belonged and she did immediately. She left us way to soon on January 11, 2011.

Olivia and Scooby became besties on day 1. There was no separating them. She was wild and crazy which brought out Scooby's youth from being middle aged.

She started out tough grew to be a softy. We rated her PG-13 due to her roughness. She attacked with many many kisses with that very long tongue of hers.

She loved balls and loved belly rubs even more. She loved playing catch and chasing anything that was fast enough. She loved attacking Scooby and biting his ears even our ears. She loved sleeping under the covers. She loved tug of war and would play it for hours. She had to win.

She got into everything. When she got caught she would show her belly in shame while still waging her tail. We love her very much, she is part of the family. We will miss her and her love for water. We will miss her cry when she sees us packing to leave and darting in the garage to make sure she is coming too. We will miss everything about her.

We will miss her unconditional love, her wet slobbery kisses, the cuddling in the morning before getting out bed for work, the horse playing and with out a doubt the family will always be missing a member.

Family in Brazil

We almost had the chance to go to Brazil for Christmas. It didn't work out due to flights. I wish it could have worked out. It has been a year and a half since I have seen Danielle, Clinton, Cj, Bianca, and Pai Ze. Even longer since I have seen Maria. Same for Adriana, Ricardo, and Murilo. And I have never met their new baby Diogo. Gabe gets to see them ever so often when he travels there for work. I miss them alot and hope we can make a trip up soon. It's long over due.

Christmas with Mom

We spent Christmas day with my mom. We ate lunch at my brothers house (the doll house). He even broke his own rules and let my dogs inside. He was easy to break. We had fun, opened presents, ate good food, and the dogs got to run around in the field and get muddy.

New Furniture

We bought new furniture from RC Willey finally. We have had an empty space by the fire place since we moved in October of 2009. I love it. It works great with the big room. And I love love the vases to match.

We decorating for Christmas Thankgiving weekend. It's always fun to put up the decorations. We didn't do our outside decorations this year, because it was way to cold... for vegas. :)

Thanksgiving 2010

For Thanksgiving, we had no plans. All the fam had different things going on, so we ended up going to Texas De Brazil. It was so yummy, but we ate way to much. We had alot of fun, but missed being we all the family.

On Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, we went to the caves by Blue Diamond and Fort Apache. If you haven't been there you should go. They are pretty cool. We hiked around and let the dogs play. It was a really nice day for a hike.

Scooby's Tumor Update

I just got the call today. Scooby's tumor is Benign. Which means it isn't cancerous. Thank Heaven's. We just have to keep watching that area for more. I guess it is common for short haired darker pigment dogs. I'm so glad he is OK!

Park, Football, Olivia, & Scooby Surgery

On Saturday, I dropped Scooby off at the vet to get a growth removed. We will find out in a couple of days if it is cancerous or not. We are hoping for the best. Olivia was so sad when I took Scooby and left her behind. She cried at the door. Then when I came back with out him she was panicking.

While Scooby was getting carved, we went to the park and Gabe played football with Terrance and others. We took Olivia and played catch. I think she liked the extra attention without Scooby.

It was so sad when I picked up Scooby. He was drugged up and sad. He wouldn't even give me kisses.

He is still getting use to the cone. He runs into everything. And walking up the stairs is a major challenge. Olivia has pulled off the cone and made a lot of teeth marks in it. I don't think she likes Scooby with the cone. It doesn't make Scooby much of a challenge when she beats him up.

Me and Mom were just messing around taking pictures and I made her take a sexy one. She is going to kill me for putting this up. :)

For Halloween we went to Stoney's. It is a Country Bar with line dancing and country swing. It was fun we played darts, bowling, and arcade games.

I didn't get to see Chance for Halloween, but my dad sent a picture. He is a cutie!

New York Labor Day Weekend

On Labor Day weekend I met Gabe in New York. We had so much fun. There was so much to see there and not enough time. We got to see so much.

This Macy's is huge. It is the size of a whole block. It has 9 floors. We stopped looking around and just kept going up the escaladors. Stop at the floor then got back on the esclaldor to go to the next floor.

This is a 9/11 memorial. It is of floor tiles that have been personalized for people that were lost.

We were going to the Statue of Liberty this day, but to go inside the statue you had to be there at 730am. So we went back another day.

Grand Central Station

After this long day of touring New York are feet were hurting and we were super tired. When we walked into the hotel one of Gabe's Clients gave us tickets to go to a concert for a Brazilian star Ivete Sangalo. We had 30 minutes to change and head over to the concert. We had crew tickets so we had a good view of the show but no chairs to sit in. So we stood the whole time and danced. It was alot of fun but I was excited when it was over so I could go sit in the cab. :)

Sunday of Labor Day was Brazillian Day at Times Square. We didn't stick around to long because there were so many people and it was clasto. We got Pasteis and got out of there. :)

We went to Manhattan Beach for a weekend. Gabe was going to South America for 3 weeks so we wanted to do something fun before he left.

Barstow

Manhattan Beach was fun but it was pretty chilly all weekend. We only braved the water one day with out wetsuits on. We boogie boarded and some dolphins got pretty close to us and I freaked out and wanted out of the water. The dolphins got even closer to some other people down the beach a litte.

My mom gave Gabe a kite for Christmas and we finally got to try it out.

5 Year Anniverasary

It was our 5 year Anniversary today. I can't believe we have been married this long. The time is passing by so quickly. I want it to slow down way down so I can enjoy my husband even more. I love you Honey!!!

To celebrate we went to Paniveno and ate yummy food. Gabe called ahead and told them that it was our anniversary and asked to see if they could do something special for us. So after we ate they brought out some desert all decorated cute. Here is some pics of us.

After dinner we played some Craps at South Point. I know naughty naughty. But we had fun and didn't lose our money. :)

Cabo Trip

In May we went to Cabo San Lucas with Kristen and Brady. We used their aunts time share. The place was awesome. It was so big that every where you went you had to call for a golf cart to come pick you up. We had alot of fun at the beach. Although all the shopping was really expensive. So we didn't buy to much. We all got alot of sun and went home with tans and sunburns.

It was so cool because you were in the desert but at the beach.

Gabe played soccer on the first morning we were there. He had fun but his feet were raw for days.

We went Kayaking out to Lover's beach and then snorkelled. We saw alot of cool fish.

This is the pacific side of the ocean. The waves are so big and the rip tide is so bad that no one is allowed to swim there.

So of course Gabe has to try it and he gets wiped out really bad.

The boys tried surfing without any lessons. It was funny to watch.

They tried but never really got up. The waves here were really weird though. Nothing like the waves in Cali. Also, there were rocks everywhere.

Since surfing didn't happen we went exploring.

We found a couple dead blow fish. Gabe made me pick it up to take a picture. Ewwww!!!

On another day we went on a banana ride. It was fun for a minute.

Until we got flipped over and I got hit in the head.

Afterwards I was scared to fall off again. You can see it in my face. :z

March Alamo Trip

Since Gabe is gone in South America I went to Alamo to hang with the Fam. We went to Wes and Jessica's wedding. We had a pretty good time dancing. Johnny played a little guitar and banjo for the crowd and Jake got everyone dancing.

I got to play with Chance. He is getting cuter and cuter.

Me and John went to breakfast together at windmill, then took the dogs to Aunt Mernas. Olivia jumped in the water and Scoob stood clear of it. Then we went to Hells half acre and hiked around a little. I didn't quite have the right shoes on.

Brian Head Trip 2

We went to Brian Head again. And this time we went with a Gabe's boss, Tim, and his family. We had lots of fun. But it snowed so hard there. We didn't get to do much skiing because there was no visibility. So to keep from getting cabin fever we went sledding.

On our way home we stopped and took a little walk to a small lake. The snow was really deep but we had fun. It was really pretty there. Then we saw a bunch of deer.

Brian Head Trip

When we got home the dogs were so excited to see us. Scooby is seriously sitting on my lap. He thinks he is a person and it is pretty funny. While we were in Brian Head my mom stayed at our house and babysat our doggies. She is great. She even did the dishes, vacuumed, made us Lasagna and Oreo pie. I love her. :)

Gabe bought new Ski's. I know he is spoiled. Here he is trying them out before we head home.

At Cedar Breaks. It was so beautiful. If you go to Brian Head you should definitely go snowmobiling there.

For Sarah's birthday, we went to South Point and ate at Primarily Prime Rib and then we played Bingo. Bingo was a lot of fun. Me and Sarah had paper cards that we had to dop and Gabe and Nate used the boring electronic ones. Some of the games were really confusing, but we had some lady helping us along. We messed up big time on one of the games, it was pretty embarrassing. None of us won, but now we know what were doing so we will win. :)

Future baby gender predictions

Since Sarah is pregers, we decided to our future childrens gender predictions. We used a string and tied a ring to the end of it. If the rings goes back and forth its a boy and in a circle its a girl. I will be having a girl, then boy and girl twins, and then another girl.

3 girls and 1 boy, Gabe won't be to happy about this. Too many gray hairs on his head. :)

Sarah will have 2 boys. So, the baby she is carring now is a boy. We will find out in like 15 weeks if it is right.

Valentines Day - Mt. Charleston

On Valentine's Day, we packed up the dogs and went to Mt. Charleston to play in the snow. It was really packed on the mountain. There were alot of people sleding and all the campgrounds were full. Since we had now where to cook our Hobo dinners we headed down the mountain to go off roading and make us a fire. We ended up at the helipad. Gabe started a very good fire and started cooking our dinner. The dogs loved the snow, especially Olivia. She kept on wanting to play catch. She loved the challenge of finding the ball in the snow. She would dig a hole, then put her ball there, covering it up, and then uncover it. She didn't stop the whole 3 hours we were there. Scooby loved the snow to. He smelled around and marked his territory on many bushes. We had jackets for them, so they didn't get to cold. The hobo dinners were so yummy. Our camera broke so we used a disposable one and the pictures didn't really turn out.

I sewed a Baby Sling

Have you ever went to a store to buy a baby sling? They are so expensive. My sister in law Adrianna wanted me to buy her one to send up to Brazil. They are even more money there. They seemed like two fabrics put together and I couldn't make myself buy one. I decided to sew one myself. I found a video online that walked through all the steps of making one (I will reference the blog I used when I can find it). So I did it. And the sling actually turned out. The first one I did was too small but the second one should work perfectly for my little soon to come nephew. With my left over fabric I made a little blanket to match.

Olivia with her cute face and "I'm sorry, I'm so ashamed look" keeps getting into my sink. She takes pans out to lick clean, tupperwares to chew to pieces, and wood spoons to gnaw on. Scooby is not so innocent either with the "I didn't do it look". He may have short legs and can't reach the counter, but that is what Olivia is for, right? He loves breaking the tupperware into pieces once Olivia gets them out of the sink and I'm sure he loves to lick the greasy goodness from the pans too. I can't get them to stop. Sure I can keep dishes out of my sink, but that means doing dishes everyday. Once I work all day, then cook dinner, and eat my yummy food I don't want to leave the couch. So my pans get put in the sink before bed and forgotten until the next day when I need to do the dishes before making dinner because I have no pans. Then the search begins. I find pans upstairs in the extra bedroom, pieces of tupperware on top of the stairs, and half eaten wood spoons outside in the yard. As soon as I pick up that pan Olivia gives me the "I'm sorry, I'm so ashamed look" and shows me her belly while Scooby gives me the"I didn't do it look" and hides away. If your looking for a point of this blog, I don't have one. I won't change my ways and my doggies won't either. I still love them though like their my children and I'm sure they love me for not doing the dishes. :)

I love the rain, but there comes a point when it needs to STOP!!! For one thing noboby knows how to drive in Vegas especially when it is raining. There are wrecks all over, my work building is leaking, and my dogs are tracking mud all over my floor. Above is a picture of the airport.

I have never driven through fog before. These pics are when I was driving on I-15 North. I've watched to many movies when monsters come out of the fog or mist.

Gabe's 4 Wheeler Accident

Gabe and Nathan went out to Nellis to ride 4 wheelers this weekend. The last thing I said before he left was "be careful and don't do anything stupid" and sure enough he wrecked hard. I'm at home minding my own business and a text comes through from Nathan and it's a picture of Gabe with his pants ripped, like shown above. He hit a hole and flipped over the 4 wheeler. His leg is bruised and scratched, but he'll live. Here he is telling me the story when he got home. Dork!

We parked on the side of Dean Martin to watch the fireworks. We were dancing to keep warm. I even did a few cartwheels in the dirt and stickers. We had a pretty good view of all the fireworks on the strip. I know I look like a dork. My hat was too big in kept falling over my face.

Christmas Day

After we opened all our gifts, we went to Grandma Lo's to eat breakfast. I made the toast. I loved seeing all my extened family. I finally got to see Amy, it had been a long time. We visited and ate, then Grandma opened her gifts. My little second cousins helped her out.

After breakfast we went to my mom's place and watched a movie. I fell asleep like normal. Then we headed back over to my dad's to have Christmas dinner. It was yummy. We headed home that night.

The dogs had alot of fun at my mom's place. Olivia and Scooby actually played and had fun with Raigen, my mom and Johnny's dog. They ran laps around the house. Silly doggies.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with my mom this year. We had a scrumptious dinner with my mom, Johnny, Jake, and Linda. We also opened our presents.

The M Christmas Tree

For some fun we went to The M to check out the huge Christmas Tree. We also had some yummy desert including ice-cream even though it was freezing outside. We also check out the Casino. It is pretty nice. They have a soda machine that you can use for free.

We are actually standing pretty far away from the tree so we could get it all. It is a real pine tree. I don't think I have ever seen one so big.

Wisdom Teeth

I got all four of my wisdom teeth out on Friday. My bottom two teeth were impacted and my top two were not so bad. I don't remember much from being at the doctor. I remember sitting in the chair and hearing my pulse it was at 102, but when she got ready to put my IV in it jumped to almost 140. It actually didn't hurt so bad. What hurt was when she was taping the IV and her gloves got stuck on the tape and she was trying to rip it off and it was moving the needle around inside. I'm pretty sure that is why i have a huge bruise. Then she put medicene in my IV that made me loopy and itchy for few seconds. They were laughing at me and that is all I remember. I remember a little from the car ride home, and when Gabe was walking me into the house. I remember saying, "I can walk on my own" and I almost fell. My mom came to vegas to help and Gabe took the day off work. So I had both of them with me. Gabe helped me walk and my mom took videos. They are short, but some of them are really funny. Lots of emotions. Here they are.

Just a note. I don't remember anything these videos shows. And the video where I'm crying and Gabe is kinda mean to me, apparently this was like the thousandth time I said the same thing over and over. :) And I was bleeding pretty bad so I need to stop talking.

Thanksgiving Weekend

For Thanksgiving dinner, we went to the Palazzo with my Mom and her friend from Seattle. We had lots of fun and the food was yummy.

The day after Thanksgiving I went up to Alamo to spend some time with my my Dad, Jake, Johnny, and Chance. We had taco's, which were so yummy. We also went and visited Grandpa and Grandma. The above picture is Chance with a doll at Grandma's that says a prayer. Chance loved her.

I aslo got to got to Mike and VeraDells anniversary surprise party. It was fun seeing everyone and all the cute kids and babies.

We decorated our house this weekend also. It was alot of fun to decorate our new house. We bought christmas lights to put on our house, but after we opened them all we found out they had no end connectors. So we just decorated our trees.

The doggies got sent to the corner because they were getting in the way. To curious.

Pole position was having a good deal on the price per race. So me and Sarah finally raced. We have always been to scared. It was so much fun. I was nervous at first but that went away quickly. I want to go again. Me and Sarah only raced onced but the boys raced twice. The pics are pretty cool of the racing.

Twillight Saga: New Moon

Twilight Saga: New Moon

A bunch of us girls went to New Moon on opening day. Right after work we went to the theater to wait in line for an Hour and a half and it was totally worth the wait. The movie was so good. It was alot better than the first one, but they also had alot more money to make it. There were a few scenes that bugged me since they were nothing like the book, but I went in opened minded.

In this picture is My mom, me, T-Rose, Jenny, Sarah, Katie, and Heather and her friends. We were first in line, so we got really good seats.

Before I went to the theater I just had to take a pic with the family. Olivia is so silly, she stuck her tongue out of the camera. I'm so sad that Gabe couldn't come. I will make him watch it with me when it comes out on DVD.

At work, me and Sarah wore our shirts. It is tradition for our group of TwiNerds to make shirts and wear them to the movie.

First November Weekend

Since Gabe went to a Gears of War Tournament. I packed up the dogs and went to Alamo for a night. My pa was in Logandale so I spent all the time with my Mom. We went to the Highschool football game on Friday. They were 50 to 0 at half time.

Finally it is fall. I mean I had to drive 90 miles to get there but the trees in Alamo are pretty. I haven't seen any trees in LV turn any colors yet.

We went to Aunt Merna's to let the dogs play around and to try and catch some Crawdads. No such luck. But the dogs had fun. They chased a deer, found nasty things to chew on, and got really dirty. You can see here Olivia first deciding to get in, she decided against it until after she chased the deer. Then jumped in. Scooby, poor doggie, fell in. I had a hilarious picture of it, but it didn't save. He fell in head first and I had to help him out since the bank was muddy.At my mom's place they get so spoiled there. They even got to sleep on the couch. Thats a no no at my house. :)
Here is Gabe and his team at Anaheim, Ca at the Gears of War tournament. Bunch of nerds. They lost the first game, then won the second, and lost the third. It was double elimination. One of his teammates were not getting very many kills a game. He did have fun though.

We finally closed on our house. It was a week later, but we are happy.

That night we closed, we took the dogs to the house. They seemed to love it. They ran all over. Upstairs, in the bedrooms, then the closets, bathrooms, then they ran outside and ran around some more.

Here are all the paint samples the boys brought for us to pick paint colors. I think they over did it. I knew what colors I wanted, but I did find a cool color for my bedroom. I will show pics when we are finished.

Chance update!

This last weekend we went up to Alamo for CJ's baptism and birthday party. After the party we went and visited My dad, Debbie, and Chance. He has gotten so big. At the last doctors appt. on Wednesday he wieghed 5lbs 13oz.

See he doesn't look like a wrinkly old man anymore or an Alien. Ha Ha! Now he has a double chin.

I got to feed the little bugger and it was fun. He watches you with his big eyes.

4 year aniversary!

Yesterday was our 4 year aniversary.

I love Gabe so much. I'm so happy to have him in my life. Muah!
I'm pretty sure Gabe bought this at a gas station, but he won't fess up. He had no time to shop between work - school - work - school. That is seriously his schedule during the week in one day.

I gave Gabe a poem titles "Our Love Story"

I was reading my grandma's book she gave to everyone for Christmas and I just loved how she wrote poems about everything. So I decided I was going to be a poet. This was my first and only try at poems. It turned out good, Gabe said it was the best present I have ever given him.

We went to Lake Mead last Saturday and took the dogs on a hike. We all had alot of fun. Lots of new bushes for the dogs to smell. I think we are going to go again this weekend and maybe camp this time.

Chance getting a Bottle

So I am a little behind on my blogging. Chance started drinking from a bottle last week. Here are some cute pics of him. On Monday Chance had to get a blood tranfusion because the hospital took to much blood and his blood cell count was low. He also got put back on being fed through the feeding tube. From drinking out of the bottle he swallowed to much air and was getting bloated. They will try and feed him the bottle in a week or two. He is doing real well now. Before the transfusion he weighed 2lbs and 12oz.

I went to the hospital today and got to see cutie Chance. He was sound asleep, so we didn't bug him since he is not a good sleeper. He has gained 20 grams which is 0.705 ounces.

Debbie got out of the hospital today and finally got to be with Chance. They took out his feeding tube and have been feeding him 4oz every couple of hours and his belly is tolerating it. He hasn't gained any weight but he hasn't lost any yet either.

Here is Chance 2 days old. He is doing really well. Last I heard they were going to take his feeding tube out and try feeding him milk. Hopefully he can digest it so he can grow faster. He is a rambuncious one. The nurses told my dad that he doesn't want to sleep, he just wants to squirm and look about his surroundings.

La Push was the best. It is an awesome beach with cool island formations.

There were so many seals at La Push. Here is a bunch of them floating and sticking there fins out of the water. They did this for a long time. I had to look up and see why they do this. Seals do this to regulate their temperature.
